Angeliki Katsenou

Angeliki KatsenouI received my Ph.D. in 2014 at the Computer Science and Engineering Department, University of Ioannina (Greece). I obtained the M.Eng. from Electrical Engineering and Computer Technology Department, University of Patras, and my M.Sc. in Computer Engineering and Informatics Department, University of Patras (Greece). I have also worked as a freelance researcher in several European and International research projects.

I joined the VILab and the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Initial Training Network PROVISION as an experienced researcher under the supervision of Professor D. Bull and Dr D. Agrafiotis in August 2015.

My research interests are in the wider area of video compression and communications, such as video analysis/synthesis, rate-quality optimization, perceptual quality metrics, and resource allocation issues for quality-driven video transmission.
